Support The Blog

The Climate Advisor is a self-funded project that makes no money.

If you like this blog and get some useful info or ideas from it, please consider supporting this work.

The goal is to have this blog at least break even, or maybe even be profitable someday. It costs about $400+ to run it each year, which doesn’t include the time administering the website and writing posts. If this blog made some money, it would motivate me to produce more content. I have a huge backlog of things to write about!

Some ways to help…

  • Leave a constructive comment on one of the posts. This is always encouraging to see!
  • Follow the affiliate links for items discussed in the blog, and consider buying something.
    • Any items discussed, I own myself, and have found to be useful and of high quality (unless otherwise stated, in which case they may not be linked).
    • Also, see the list below for links to products and services The TCA uses! Thx!
  • Send me an email and let me know what you think or if there’s a topic you’d like to see covered.
  • Sign up for the email list and get informed when new posts drop.
  • When we have advertisers or sponsors, consider clicking on the banner and going to their site.
  • Share a post with a friend.

Thank you for your support. 🙂

TCA Referral Links
  • TorGuard VPN – simple to use, great service, highly customizable. I have tried many different VPNs, but I seem to keep coming back to TorGuard. The only downside is that the TorGuard company is based in one of the “five eyes” countries, which means that they could be required to reveal their traffic logs to intelligence services. However, they supposedly delete all logs automatically. Anyhow, it works great, and if you want to get around VPN blocks to services like Netflix, Disney, or other sites that block VPN traffic, you can get a dedicated IP address with the Pro VPN level of service. Last, they often have sales, and you can email them and ask for a discount, to which they seem pretty responsive.
  • Ecoflow – solar generators, portable heat pumps, portable fridge, and other great products. Check out this post where I review the heat pump.
