Climate Adaptation in Texas
Here’s an interesting article from the Texas Tribune about climate adaptation to protect Galveston and Houston. Climate change is not explicitly mentioned, but sea level rise and warming oceans are. Really this is a story about climate change adaptation. Part of the plans discussed are to protect oil and gas refineries along the coast near Houston, which is a bit ironic as the O&G (as we call it here in Texas) is the root of the problem being protected against.
